Today, I was about to take my bath. I heard a crying voice and noticed a drop of water was crying from the tap. I took him on the top of my middle finger and asked "what happened to you?" He sobbed and said "...I am nothing...!" I condolences him and said "Yes! you are no-thing, but why this 'nothing' have grief and cry!!!" He was amazed to hear that "Oh! Sir, please tell me, why should I live, why I am and what for?" I told him "Don't underestimate yourself, you are the 'life' for each and every creature. you are not this tiny drop only, but an omnivores kind of thing". He said in a depressed voice "No, sir you are wrong, I know my tininess, I know my limitations, I know my boundaries, I am like puppet of this nature force. Everybody use me for his/her/its life. Do you think I am living my life as I want?". "Oh! my life" I said "No one can live his life with his own desire. Air is not blowing for itself. River is not flowing for itself. Trees and plants are not growing for themselves. Everyone and everything doing something for another one and another thing!". The drop replied "I don't understand what are you saying". "Just hold on" I said and put him in the bucket which was already filled with water. He at once disappeared. I asked him "where are you? I can't see you?" A voice came from the bucket "What is this sir, I am here in front of you". "But where?" I was looking for a single drop in the water. The voice "Oh! come on sir; what are you looking for, I am this big drop now shaped as this bucket, why are you searching for a tiny drop in this bucket size big drop?"
I smiled and said "There you are! do you feel any difference?" He said Not actually! but I have just became this bucket". I asked "What if put this bucket, I mean yourself in a River?" "I would be the River...!" He seemed astonished. His eyes were brightened , he at once shouted "Oh! my God, I am the ocean". I smiled and said "... and you are nothing too...". He said "Yes sir, you are right, I an nothing too and that's why I am infinite too. I am so grateful to you ...!!!" I stopped him and said "No, dear I am grateful to you for being my life.... I love you". He was crying now with joy he replied again "... I love you too... now let me do my duty and you to yours."
I took my bath.
